Welcome to Tadcaster
Theatre Company (TTC) based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire (Better known for
the beer than performing!). Formerly known as Tadcaster & District
Amateur Operatic Society we changed our name to reflect our performances
and strengths and are now in our 61st year!
We are a
friendly group of enthusiastic, amateur performers who put on two shows a
year in the Riley Smith Hall, Tadcaster.
Our Spring
performance is a variety show with a complete mix of popular song and
songs from musicals past and present, accompanied by movement and dance and
often a bit of comedy. In the Autumn we produce a musical or
pantomime for those who want a storyline and the additional chance to take
on an acting role.
We are
always on the look out for new members aged 15+ who can sing, move and
perhaps act as well as members who want to assist back stage or front of
house. We rehearse Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7.30pm and some
Sunday afternoons nearer to the performance.
